How To Arrange Table And Chair Rentals

By Angel Dudley

If you are planning to host an event for family, friends or co-workers but, do not think you are going to have enough seating options to offer your guests, you can simply arrange for table and chair rentals through a local company. There are quite a few different rental companies that can help you meet your needs at relatively low prices.

Before you begin looking into the rental companies, the first thing you want to do is to decide how many people are going to attend your party. Having at least an approximate number of guest in mind when you call the store will allow the store staff to give you more accurate information regarding the cost of the rental.

Once you have considered how many guests you will have at your party, think about the type of tables and chairs that you would like to have for your guests. Often, there are choices such as wood furniture, metal, or plastic. The style you choose and the size of the furniture is likely going to play a roll in how much you spend for the rental.

If you have the internet, you can browse the various company websites to get an idea of what they have to offer and compare the prices. If you are unable to access the internet, you can simply contact the companies that interest you via telephone and speak to one of the company representatives about your particular needs.

If you are planning to rent quite a few pieces from one company, you may be able to get a discount for your large order. While most companies are likely to point out the opportunity to get a discount, do not be shy to ask if they have discounts if they have not mentioned it.

Once you have narrowed down the choices of companies to just two or three that appear able to meet your needs, go directly to the company in person to look at their stock firsthand. You want to be certain that the items you plan on renting is exactly what you believe it to be. You should also request a written quote from a salesperson at that time.

Make sure that the company you have chosen is going to be able to provide the furniture on the date that you need them. Whenever possible, rent your furniture at least a few days before the event to help avoid an unforeseen delays. Remember, if you need assistance transporting the furniture, be sure to ask that the price be included in the quote.

The price for table and chair rentals will vary depending on a number of factors so, do take the time to research each company and learn about their fees and decide which company will best suit your needs. Before signing a contract with any company be sure that you understand what exactly your are agreeing to and that all fees associated with the agreement are clearly understood.
