Why The Toggi Website Is A Good Website Sample For Business

By Essie Osborn

A lot of retailers try to succeed in the virtual world by making great online websites and stores. A lot also fail due to clunky loading times and also confusing layouts that are too much to absorb in one go. Toggi, on the other hand has an interesting website that does not necessarily have all the bells and whistles, but it does get the job done.

The website of this retailer gains its loading speed from the fact of its simple layout. Even dial up connections will not have a problem loading up the page in full. Faster connections of course starting from 1 mbps sees the page load almost instantly and quite smoothly. This of course is a boon for the store especially when it comes to impatient internet surfers and shoppers.

The speed of course gets a boost from the simpler design of the site which has basically minimal graphics and special effects. It shows main offerings of the store in the center and choices of apparel by gender on the left. By the main tabs on the left side one can choose by organized items that the store has to offer.

The left side also sees a tab that separates the equestrian riding gear and products on the bottom from outdoor apparel on top. The tab is called technical guide tab and is quite interesting. It is a guide that shows the different materials the products are made of and what advantages these materials gives for each of the products in the product line. This sort of additional information being given to customers and prospective customers is something that is quite new and not seen always.

Further clicking on in any tab also opens up a further sub menu that further gives a collection for men women and others such as equestrian use. An accessories section is also quite interesting in that it shows a collection for bags, scarves and even socks that the buyer might be interested in.

Those addicted to social media will not feel lost in this site as links to popular social media are also included on it. Links are available for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. A tab covering news for products is also included if one wants to know more about their products and product lines that are in the offing or just newly offered.

Another interesting and novel move by the company is to provide a product registration for products bought from their stores. This in a way keeps track of loyal customers and also helps them make a database for future promotions and sales and deals. Very few if any company does this for their sites as an aftersales service.

Thus the site gives designers or would be webmasters the key ingredients in what to look for in a website. Speed, simplicity and conciseness in providing and gathering information are handled well and in a straightforward manner. It is a fine example to use if one is teaching what the main components of a successful webpage and online business are.
